The EDU-Home partners met in Paphos (Cyprus) on May 9 to test the platform’s functionality and apply the final improvements. The platform is envisioned as a “meeting point” between students, mobile staff, and key actors in the international housing sector.
Work Package 3 (WP3), which focuses on the development of the platform tools and content, will be concluded by the end of May, while Work Package 4 (WP4), involving the pilot implementation of the platform in three universities, is now in its early stages.
The University of Dubrovnik presented the implementation plan for this WP, which also includes the development of training packages for Higher Education Institution staff and specific guidelines for all platform users.
During the meeting, an engaging workshop organized by EDUCatt took place, during which partners formed working groups to actively contribute to the platform testing phase: a comprehensive test of every relevant aspect was carried out to ensure the best possible user experience for individuals in mobility and housing providers. The administrative side of the platform was also tested. The platform will be available in English, Italian, Croatian, Greek, and German. The workshop led to a strong engagement and collaboration among all partners, along with the consolidation of key project milestones.
Partners are now continuing the development activities, which will culminate in May 2026 with the final presentation of the platform at the closing meeting hosted by EDUCatt in Italy.
